Flowmodoro unlocks your deep focus

A smarter way to ride your natural concentration waves

Some study sessions feel like a grind. Others? You’re completely locked in — no distractions, just progress.

Flowmodoro is a technique built to protect those moments. It’s an adaptation of the Pomodoro Method, but designed for when you’re already in the zone and don’t want to break your stride.

Here’s how Flowmodoro works:

  • Start studying with full focus — no timer. Just begin.
  • Continue for as long as you naturally stay focused. Could be 20 minutes, could be over an hour. Go with your flow.
  • When you’re ready to stop, check how long you studied.
  • Take a break that’s one-third of that time.
Example: If you focused for 60 minutes, take a 20-minute break.

This method trains you to recognise your natural focus cycles — and to respect them. No alarms. No interruptions. Just deep, satisfying work followed by earned recovery.

Flowmodoro helps you build a rhythm that’s more intuitive, and often more rewarding. It’s especially useful for creative work, writing, practice exams and big assignments.

TL;DR

Let your brain lead. Flowmodoro is a focus technique where you study as long as it feels good — then take a break equal to one-third of that time.
