2-Minute Stare (Master Focus!)
# Study Hacks | Procrastination
Train your brain with the 2-minute stare
You’re not going to like it. That’s why it works.
We live in the middle of an attention epidemic. Short videos, pop-up notifications, constant tab-switching — your brain is bombarded every few seconds.
That’s why procrastination isn’t about laziness. It’s about focus failure. And if you want to beat it, you need to train your brain like a muscle.
Enter: The 2-Minute Stare
This deceptively simple method helps rebuild your attention span — fast.
- Before you study, find an analog clock or use this: online clock with seconds
- Stare at the seconds hand for 2 full minutes. Don’t look away. Don’t think about anything else. Just watch the tick.
- If your mind drifts, restart the timer.
- After 2 clean minutes, begin studying immediately.
Do it every day. It’s uncomfortable at first — but that’s the point. The more you practise, the more laser-focused your brain becomes.
TL;DR
Focus kills procrastination. Train it daily with the 2-minute stare — a simple ritual that sharpens attention before you even start.
