How it works

From application to first student

The process is quick for strong applicants. Every stage exists to check one thing: would we trust you with our own kid's final years of school.

Fill in the application form

A short online form covering the details listed below. About ten minutes, start to finish.

Short screening call

About 15 minutes on video. We check the criteria and get a feel for how you explain things.

Paid trial session

You run a real session with a real student, and you are paid for it either way.

Contract and onboarding

Sign the contractor agreement, complete onboarding, and get matched with your first students.

The application is a short online form. It takes about ten minutes, and a person reads every one.

Have these details ready

Your name, university and degree
Your ATAR and your English Advanced result, or the interstate equivalents
The subjects and year levels you want to teach, and your rough weekly availability
What you were involved in outside the classroom, at school or since
Two or three sentences on why a student would enjoy an hour with you
