By accessing our website or using any services provided by TutorWow Pty Ltd (ABN: 74 463 627 455) ("TutorWow", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all users of TutorWow services, including parents, guardians, and students. References to "you" or "the client" include any parent, guardian, or other person who engages TutorWow on behalf of a student.
TutorWow provides personalised 1-on-1 online tutoring services to secondary school students, primarily for the HSC curricula. Our services include:
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
TutorWow offers one complimentary trial lesson per student. The trial lesson is subject to availability and must be preceded by a completed trial request form and a discovery call. Only one trial lesson is provided per family.
The trial lesson is provided as an introduction to our services and does not constitute a guarantee of ongoing enrolment, specific results, or tutor availability.
Our session fees are communicated at the time of enrolment and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are payable in advance or as per the payment schedule outlined at the time of enrolment.
Payments are processed securely via our nominated payment provider. By providing payment details, you authorise TutorWow to charge the agreed amounts in accordance with the payment schedule.
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may result in suspension of sessions until outstanding amounts are settled.
We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Repeated late cancellations may affect the availability of your preferred session times.
TutorWow will use reasonable efforts to match your child with a suitable tutor based on the information provided. Tutor availability is subject to change.
If you are not satisfied with your assigned tutor, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative match. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific tutor.
To get the most from TutorWow sessions, students and families are expected to:
TutorWow reserves the right to terminate a student's enrolment without refund if conduct is deemed inappropriate or harmful to tutors or other students.
While TutorWow has a strong track record of helping students improve their academic results, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, grades, or ATAR scores. Academic results depend on many factors including student effort, attendance, and individual circumstances.
Testimonials and case studies on our website represent individual experiences and are not indicative of results guaranteed for all students.
All content on the TutorWow website, including text, graphics, and materials provided during sessions, is the intellectual property of TutorWow or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
Session materials provided to students are for personal educational use only and may not be shared, sold, or republished.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our services, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, TutorWow's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
TutorWow is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or any damage resulting from reliance on information provided during sessions.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees.
Either party may terminate the tutoring arrangement at any time by providing written notice to the other party. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before the termination date.
Fees for sessions already delivered are non-refundable. Prepaid fees for future sessions will be refunded pro-rata, minus any applicable administrative fees.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify existing clients of material changes via email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
